Social Networking Sites Impact

Before, I got interested with the use of friendster for me to be able to communicate with my friends and relatives abroad. It actually started during our high school. My friends influenced me to have such. As a matter of fact, they made an account for me. Later,I became a friendster addict. I enjoy uploading pictures and giving comments and messages to my friends. However, I observed that much of my time is being spent infront of the computer and this is the reason why I suffered from astigmatism. Another thing is that, I usually sleep late at night and sometimes I postpone doing my assignments because of friendster. And because of the vast increase of information explosion, people try to use their dexterity through making innovative ways to cope with the changes we are undergoing. Next to friendster is facebook.
Facebook is a social networking site that is operated and privately owned by Facebook, Incorporated. In here,users can add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profiles to inform friends about themselves. Students most especially in colleges and universities enjoy chit chatting, and guess what- their topic is about farmville. I got interested with it so I learned how to make a facebook account but I'm still using friendster. In facebook, you get the chance to chat with your friends, send them messages and comments if you wist to, upload your pictures and play games, such is farmville. This is also a way for me to build friendship with people whom I don't know personally. Also, when I have friends abroad who speak english and want to chat with me, I am trained to speak in english and develop my communication skills. Teachers should be updated to the ineterests of their students. This serves as an instrument for them to build a good foundation of camaraderie. It is not necessary that we spend much of our time in this social networking sites, what is important is we know how to prioritize things. Taking for instance playing farmville. For those who know this, Isn't it that for us to gain more money, we have to harvest on time? People who are very much in with this, get frustrated when their plants get wither. Funny, isn't it? But I understand them as I to am a farmville fan.
Social networking sites really bring benefits and disadvantages to users. To get updated, to be informed and to socialize are the main purpose of these.
